Derma Laser Center, Inc. (DLC) was founded in 2007 by Assunta Nesheiwat. Assunta became a Licensed Aesthetician in 2001 and began her career in the beauty industry, specifically makeup application and artistry. Assunta quickly saw much potential in the industry and her passion grew with new knowledge gained. She continues to learn cutting edge techniques and innovative strategies for improving skin health and wellness for all genders, skin tones, complexions, and ages. Assunta’s drive and motivation come from her client’s success stories after treatment, leading to higher self-esteem and increased confidence.

Assunta grew up in a home where owning your own business was encouraged and hospitality was a priority. She strives to build life-long relationships and connections with people on their journey to skin wellness. Assunta’s legacy lies in her parent’s immigration to the United States looking for the “American Dream.” As a first-generation American, Assunta is no stranger to hard work and knows the road to success is rarely paved.

DLC opened its doors in 2007 to positive feedback and open arms from the community. Due in part to Assunta’s commitment to excellence and the support of strong community bonds, DLC remains one of the premier aesthetician service providers in the Hudson Valley. Her clients come from all over the region, including Poughkeepsie, Kingston, Middletown, Newburgh, Highland, Marlboro, Milton and other surrounding hamlets and towns.

When DLC first opened, it offered only facials, waxing and laser hair removal.
